About | DMA Firmware Built Since 2018

Since 2018 BurnSky has built custom emulated DMA firmware and game cheats. Our story, how we work, and why every firmware build is generated for a single customer.

BurnSky was founded by researchers in hardware emulation and low-level security. Every build is privately implemented — fundamentally different from public-market firmware — custom mainboards, dedicated silicon, and 1:1 firmware, engineered for streamers and professionals who demand absolute account safety and performance.

The BurnSky Journey

2018 · Two people, one test rig

One of us did reverse engineering and kernel work, the other hardware and FPGA. We started digging into game memory and anti-cheat; the first tools were only for ourselves and a few players we knew.

2019 · Our first product

We built our first cheat that stayed stable for the long run. Code, testing, keeping up with game updates — all of it was just the two of us.

2020 · A publisher to sell it

We knew how to write code, not how to sell. So we partnered with a publisher: their team handled sales and customer service while we focused on development.

2021 · A dozen sellers, two developers

Our products spread through the publisher's channels, and at its peak their sales team had a dozen or so people. On the development side, it was still just the two of us.

2022 · Lessons from detections

We patched version after version alongside the games, and we got detected too. That's when we set our rule: everything runs on test machines first, then goes out to users.

2023 · Starting on DMA firmware

We began researching DMA and developing our own 1:1 emulated firmware, while our software cheats kept being maintained.

2024 · Refining the firmware

The firmware came to cover the common boards and could be generated for each customer's own board; we started taking on a small number of private projects.

2025 · Custom hardware

We started building custom soldered motherboards, our highest-tier private projects: very few slots, only for customers we work with long-term.

2026 · Selling it ourselves

Irreconcilable conflicts with our former publisher led us to stop going through a publisher at all. We launched the BurnSky store: products, support and updates now come directly from us.
